The truck scale installed at Pork Behrens Farms in Fairmont, Minnesota is an 80×12 foot Rice Lake Weighing Systems Survivor OTR steel deck with 80-foot long guide rail kit. The truck scale with guide rail kit was installed on 10/11/2017 and serves as a way for the farm to monitor product moving on and off the farm as well as ensuring vehicles are within safe on-road limits.
This scale also includes messaging displays and accessories to help the flow of traffic and make the weight readouts visible to drivers and farm staff, even in the direct sunlight.
